#IAIM on Radio Leicester

Listen again to our students aspirations and remember to pick up an #IAIM wristband at reception or online

At our school, individual differences are recognised and respected but are never seen as a barrier to achievement. The #IAIM campaign hopes to raise awareness of the aims and dreams of students with learning difficulties. Whether that be, being independent of their wheelchair, being able to make their own music choices or things more ambitious liking scoring a goal at Wembley.

We have set an initial target to raise £25,000 but we hope with local and national support we can smash this. The money raised will go directly to continued improvements of facilities, equipment and opportunities to our students.

People can support the campaign by making a donation or take on a fundraising challenge of their own  -

Liam Deacy, fundraising manager said: “We need as many as people as possible to get on board. If there are companies out there who can sponsor us, donate materials or volunteer time to paint, or provide a work place for one of our students, it will all help. In the meantime we’ll keep auctioning items received and raising as much awareness as possible.
