Can you help?

Dorothy Goodman School wants every young person to feel inspired and prepared for the world of work. We want to give young people multiple opportunities to get to know the world of work, understand what work is, explore their options and build real confidence about their future. We want to start that work as soon as children start their education with us.

We are now starting to organise our annual ‘Moving On’ careers event for our primary school pupils. As part of this event we are seeking volunteers to come into school to talk to small groups of pupils (accompanied by staff) about their job and demonstrate a task(s) they do as part of their role and/or provide an activity for the pupils to have a go at. We would love to see a diverse range of jobs from different job sectors.

YOU COULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO OUR YOUNG PEOPLE! Would you be willing to give up an hour of your time to support us with this event?

DATE: THURSDAY 14 MARCH 2019
