How to Contact Your Class Teacher

  1. You can ring the Head teacher at any time.
  2. If you write in to the Head or a class teacher about anything, we will aim to reply the same day, but if not (if, for instance, we need to check on something before replying), then certainly within 5 working days.
  3. If you have a message that needs to be passed on to a teacher, then please do so through the office
  4. If you need to speak to a class teacher, then please ring after 3:30pm. We cannot take calls for teachers before then (including Life Skills - even though there is a direct line!) because teachers' attention obviously needs to be focussed on the class.
  5. If you need to meet with a class teacher for any specific reason that cannot be addressed through Parents' Evenings etc., then please make an appointment through the office.
  6. If your call is an emergency, then of course you may ring at any time and we will either put you through or pass on a message.

We have devised the above guidance in order to ensure that teachers' time can be spent teaching and that interruptions to classes are kept to a minimum. We know that parents support this, because it is one of the biggest factors in ensuring progress. Thank you for your co-operation.
